The reason I took most of July off from blogging is that I’ve been traveling a lot in the last couple of months. First a trip to the Los Angeles area in June, and then a cruise on the Baltic Sea during the first half of July. I couldn’t write enough posts ahead to keep the blog going. But I’ve got lots of fodder from my travels for posts going forward.
Some readers provided me with feedback in June on my monthly newsletter. Many thanks to those who responded to the survey. I will use the feedback as I write future newsletters (click here to subscribe).

We were on the Celebrity Eclipse and had delightful weather in the first half of July. That part of the world is well worth visiting.
