Fifteen Days I’m Waiting For

I’m waiting for the day . . .

. . . when we can download a comics page with just the strips we like.

. . . when my grocery list shops for itself.

. . . when the Star Trek food replicator becomes reality.

. . . when all the leaves turn brilliant colors on the same day.

. . . when winter is over, though it hasn’t yet begun.

. . . when I have time to catch up on my podcast playlist (though this would take weeks, not a day).

. . . when small ereaders are as good as laptops.

. . . when voice to text transcription is perfect, including punctuation.

. . . when voice transcription gives way to thought transcription, but only when I turn it on.

. . . when I sell the millionth copy of my novels.

. . . when there’s a doctor able to talk to me as soon as I need a doctor.

. . . when doctors have all the answers to all my aches and pains. And they’re right.

. . . when USPS again will deliver a letter for 3 cents (I was two the last time this was true).

. . . when cars fuel (or charge) themselves and never need repair.

. . . when chocolate has no calories.

What days are you waiting for?

I’m overwhelmed. Mostly I wish for really good health so I can travel again and fight off any disease I might encounter. That aside, I want to hold and be with my darling grandson. And I still want to see so many “ah ha!” sites in far off lands, then later [in my 90’s] travel the US with a wild looking cane–for steadying my aging bones and fighting off the world-be attacker. So much more to say here, but this will just have to suffice … for now.

Pam, it is excellent to have goals into one’s 90s! Theresa

Yeah, but he keeps telling me that he doesn’t deal with old people’s problems. Theresa
