Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas today will differ from how my husband and I have celebrated in years past. For the first time in decades, we will spend it in the Seattle area. We will also see our granddaughter (together with her parents) on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which is a treat. (Though next year, she will be more aware, and it will be even more fun!)

And we will dine with family at my sister’s home for the first time in many years. I’m not sure I’ve ever had dinner in her home on Christmas Day, though when my parents were alive, we celebrated Christmas-y dinners on dates near December 25.

We won’t see our son on Christmas, but he and his wife will join us the next day.

I hope most of you are celebrating today with family and friends, so I will not write much. Here are a few of my favorite Christmas-themed posts from years past.

Merry Christmas to all!
